Growth Mentor
What you'll do
- Help fellows (students in the program) identify potential users and explain why their product is useful.
- Guide them as they contact potential users, create content for a launch, and run small marketing experiments.
- Review landing pages, short videos, and other materials that introduce their product.
- Teach them to measure results and use what they learn to plan the next experiment.
What you'll bring
- Evidence that you helped a product, project, or audience grow.
- Results you can explain with numbers, such as new users, sign-ups, or how often people use a product or respond to content.
- Practical experience reaching people through social media, a community, or direct contact.
- The ability to turn your experience into small experiments a beginner can run.

- Currently enrolled at or graduated from a top 20 university (e.g., Princeton, Harvard, MIT, Yale, Stanford).
How we work
- Hold individual mentoring sessions, called office hours, with fellows.
- Help each fellow work through a problem and choose a clear next action.
- Keep your schedule up to date with the hours you agreed to offer.
- Use Lumos channels that staff can see when you communicate with fellows.
- Be patient, communicate clearly, and use good judgment when working with young people.
- Prepare for booked sessions and follow up on the questions or next steps discussed.
