Lumos Fellows is a great program and really helped me create a product with impact in the community. Specifically, the mentors are really helpful and can help you whenever you are stuck or just want advice. It's also great how you can ask for help from anyone in the program through the Discord server and you can create a great product through this!
It was really a great program. Gave me the confidence to build a lot of new things online. Before the program it was harder to get the confidence to start building and to know exactly what tools and stack to use because there are a lot of them out there and its confusing to figure out which one is best. Overall great experience. There was a guest speaker who was really insightful, he really had meaningful experience and he gave some really valuable tips to getting internships at top startups. Mentors were very responsive, friendly and clear when I asked for help. Very grateful for everything and this program has given me the skills to build even more projects in the future.
The Lumos program pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of, providing many learning experiences that allowed me to build a fully functional app.

A pretty good program if you want to learn how to push and develop apps quickly without much experience! This is a self-driven program, so it is still your work, and you have to pour in your initiative and time. The mentors are friendly, won't leave you hanging, and are open to helping students with any and every question they have, whether its technical or not.

Lumos Fellows was great. It was essentially my guide to building an app for the first time ever. I was surprised with how much I was able to do and build, just through the program's curriculum. If I was ever stuck, there were always great mentors available to help. What I really appreciated was that Lumos Fellows doesn't just end after the six weeks are over - you are still in contact with the mentors through the Discord server, which I found to be extremely helpful when building future projects. I'd 100% say Lumos Fellows is worth it.

Lumos Fellows helped me build a professional-level website and iOS app that solves a real-world problem in healthcare and toxicology, emphasizing that this program is NOT only for CS or Business majors; it's for anybody looking to ship a real product, learn about business and marketing, and gain experience in AI-coding in a field they're passionate about. 2 months ago I didn't have any experience in coding or web development, and now I have a working product with real users on the App Store and the web.
